Joshua Daniel (African American sophomore at Payton college prep) had a sub teacher named Mr.Vargas and he was knowing the students in his seminar Art, Walks, and Talks. Two freshman students play a song by Chicago drill rapper Lil Durk and the Mr.Vargas proceeded to ask this student
Vargas- "Do you like Lil Durk?"
Student- "Lil Durk is trash"
Vargas- "Why don't you like Lil Durk?"
Student- "he don't create good music"
Vargas- "Are you ashamed of where you are from?"
Student- "no , I just think Lil Durk is trash"
Vargas- "Are you not bout that life?"
