Recently, the Elmbrook School District Board of Education ruled in favor of instating a school wide phone policy (effective 22-23 school year). This new policy prohibits the use of cell phones, even during times such as excellence and study hall. This limits the student's access to essential learning tools, contradicting the schools core values. Additionally, students are punished as a whole, when phone policy should be dealt with on a teacher to student basis. The goal of this petition is to raise awareness, and bring change to unwanted school policy.
