I stopped buying Clarks shoes for my son because I was appalled by the obsession with khaki, blue, grey, black, dinosaurs...BORING. My son likes bright colours. He also has interests beyond dinosaurs and vehicles. If/when I have a daughter, she will more than likely enjoy blue and green as much as pink and red. She will not need pretty, sparkly, princess shoes for climbing trees and kicking a ball around. It is all so boring, Clarks. Time to evolve.

Children should not be implicitly told to fit into certain roles because of their sex.

This kind of advertising in unwanted in these times of growing equality. Children must be encouraged to be in touch with both their male and female sides. It's so offensive this kind of advertising.

This stereotyping is so wrong. I've noticed similar in Marks & Spencer, where all scientific toys are labelled "boys' toys"!!!

Because I don't want my daughter growing up in a world where her options are limited

No wonder I can't find shoes for me ... I'm extremely active and my shoes cover hundreds of miles. Yet all Clarks have to offer me are bone crunching
anklebreaking toe pinching leaky non grip high heeled instruments of torture!

It is impossible to bring our children to lok at the world equally if everything around you insists on stereotyping.

Please remove this sexism, because it will help remove the evil behaviour of some men who continue to think that women are for looks and using!
