On 9/17/2022 the Akron Youth Football teams played the Medina Youth Football teams in Medina. 
Mini League: after the game while going through the line to slap hands as good sportsmen do, the football players on the Medina team grabbed the Akron players arms and slapped them across the forearm. 
JV League: after the game while going through the the to slap hands as good sportsman do, football players from Medina slapped several of the Akron cheerleaders on the forearm hard enough to leave hand and finger shaped welts. 
The football coach’s solution was to have them run at their next practice. 
This is completely unacceptable. 
These boys assaulted these girls and they are 11-12 years old. What happens when they get older?

Sign the petition to have Medina forfeit the 2022 season for assault and un-sportsman like conduct and have them removed from the NOFA league, keep our children safe. 

Write to your league director. Write to the director of NOFA. This behavior cannot be tolerated.
