For several years now, Mayor Robin Oda has been actively posting multiple political opinion pieces of no relation to the City of Troy on her Facebook account she claims to be her "personal page" despite having a title including "Mayor of Troy" on it. These opinion pieces do not belong on this Facebook page as long as it has the Mayoral title to it. If Oda was to remove Mayor of Troy from the page title and place it in her "job" section of the profile, this would be no issue. On a weekly basis these pieces are being posted by her and causing a stir in comments which I think is part of her plan for such posts. Regardless, these posts reflect bad on a city official whose regularly trying to invite visitors to the city but possibly turning them away by continually posting this rhetoric. Troy, OH is the hometown of many and we would like our town to be welcoming to all parties, and not making them feel unwelcome.

All of this can be fixed by simply the "Mayor of Troy" title being removed from her Facebook page. Please sign if you agree.
