We, the undersigned, parents, community members and supporters of Rosalia, cherish our school and community. Rosalia is no longer able to thrive, and is at risk of losing both its unique character and quality of instruction and education, due to the Principals negative impact on the school climate. We must ensure that Rosalia Elementary, Middle and Highschool remains safe for all students.  

I believe the relationship between the school leadership and the community is broken. Rosalia has always been a strong community school, where parents are welcome and part of the process. The last few years have taken us in the opposite direction. The leadership must change, and the superintendent has the power to fix this. Large organizations make staff changes all the time to best serve their constituents and align resources. This is one of those cases.

As the WPS vision states that “A high quality education system that prepares all students for college, career, and life.”, we respectfully request a leadership change at Rosalia schools immediately. Please join me in calling for the resignation of Matthew McLain as Rosalia Schools Principal.
