We the parents, caregivers, and staff of the ElmwoodSchool District petition the School Board to promptly remove mandatory face covings for our children and the staff of our schools and making it a CHOICE effective immediately – including summer school and all spring/summer sports.

It is time to bring medical decisions back to the families for their students.

Students are suffering from headaches, poor concentration, acne, staph infections, depression and medical diagnoses of mask fatigue. For the mental health, emotional development, social development, and health of our children, it's time for our voices and concerns to be heard and make mask wearing a CHOICE.

Our administrators and school board are not taking these concerns seriously and they are not listening to all of the kids, parents, and staff. If you would like the OPTION of children being masked or unmasked at school, please consider signing this petition.  It's time to put our children's health decisions back in the hands of the families and caregivers. Please make mask wearing OPTIONAL at Elmwood Schools moving forward.
