Mayor Todd is supposed to be the person that families in the Magnolia community can go to for answers and help regarding community issues. Unfortunately that’s not the case with him. In our Mills Creek neighborhood, he has been nothing but, disrespectful, unpleasant and completely disregards our cry for help with our rising water bills. He has spoken very publicly and has confirmed his statement in emails to our community, that during this time that the city of Magnolia looks into the cause of the community wide insanely high water bills, that our water would not be shut off and no late fees will incur while we make good faith payments on $1000+ monthly water bills, the city sends us. Something he is now back peddling on and telling our community we’re out of luck. After a very public out cry in August, our water was shut off for HOURS with no reason or explanations from the city water office or Mayor Todd. At least 3 times a week our entire community goes without water completely or the water is barely above a trickle. Lie after lie from Mayor Todd has now left our community no choice but to take other actions. Mayor Todd and the city of Magnolia need to be held accountable for their lies and horrendous treatment we’ve received over the months.
