Remove JLUB Chairman

Remove JLUB Chairman
Why this petition matters

Recently, the historic 1844 Tomlinson mansion in Stratford, NJ was demolished for a multi-story senior living building. The house was on the State and National registry of historic sites. The zoning variances needed to build the project were approved by Stratford’s Joint Land Use Board (JLUB). A recent article in the Courier-Post covering the demolition featured a quote from the current JLUB Chairman Mike Mancini saying, "To us its just just an old building providing no benefit to our town. I don’t need to know the history. Wouldn't change my mind if George Washington slept here. If it doesn't benefit the taxpayers I see no reason to save it," he wrote on the Save the Tomlinson Mansion Facebook page.
This comment has upset many residents and they are calling for the removal of him as the Chairman and an apology. Even though he is not an elected official he still represents the town and his behavior is unacceptable.
