The current Hancock County 4-H Swine Committee has several members that have been on the committee WAY too long and need to step down. The few and far between members that manage to get on the committee are typically REFERED from a member of their liking so they can continue their way of thinking in hopes things are ran in the same fashion. The majority of 4H swine families have expressed their disapproval with the direction in which the swine show is going and especially the way the show is ran.

The swine committee needs term limits to remain fair and partial. Term limits will prevent members from using their power to continue to benefit their personal wants/needs, family and friends. 

Committee members need to be nominated and voted on by our swine members. 

The day of good 'ol boys and who's who in the swine world needs to stop.
