Merthyr Road, the high street in Whitchurch, is the beating heart of our community and vital to our local economy. 
 
In 2020 during the pandemic, temporary bollards were installed to widen the pavement area. Disabled bay parking signs were also removed outside the row of shops by the Village Gift Box. 
 
We, the undersigned, believe the bollards have become hazardous to those crossing the road and need to urgently be removed. 
 
We also call for the disabled parking bay signs need to be immediately re-instated, making our high street more accessible.
