I am an avid player of the popular game Fortnite, and like many others, I have been frustrated by the imbalance caused by the ballistic shields. Every game I play, there's always someone with these shields. They've nerfed the snipers but not these shields, making them overpowered and almost impossible to defeat. This has a detrimental effect on my gaming experience and that of countless others.

The issue at hand is not just about personal frustration but also about fair gameplay in a community of millions. According to Statista, Fortnite had 350 million registered users as of the year 2024 (Statista). A significant portion of this player base could be experiencing similar frustrations due to this imbalance.

We believe that removing ballistic shields from Fortnite will restore balance and fairness in gameplay. It will make matches more competitive and enjoyable for all players regardless of their skill level or strategy preference.

We urge Epic Games, the developer behind Fortnite, to listen to its dedicated player base's concerns and take action towards a more balanced gaming environment by removing ballistic shields from the game.
