The residents of Silangan Village, Brgy. Canlubang, City of Calamba, Laguna is demanding the incumbent SIC Rafael “Paeng” Panganiban to be removed or replaced by someone who is competent and trustworthy as a public official.

We believe that it is unfair and requires attention that SIC Rafael “Paeng” Panganiban is neglecting his job as Sitio-in Charge.

• NOT A REGISTERED VOTER here in Brgy. Canlubang Calamba City
• Barangay/Sitio hall is barely recognizable — not being taken care of
• Threatens his fellow “ka-barangays/ka-sitios” by either getting beat up or held you at gunpoint
• Allowing other households to use the electricity of Barangay/Sitio hall to connect and leave the electricity mentioned is being shouldered by the Brgy. Canlubang “Malaking Barangay”
• Renting empty lots for huge vehicles despite not having any rights in exchange for money (e.g., 10-wheeler, 16-wheeler, bus, etc.)
• Allowing huge vehicles to park in exchange of money  (e.g., 10-wheeler, 16-wheeler, bus, etc.) on the road — hence, obstructions that causes nuisance and might cause an accident
• Has failed to attend to nor provide needs to his fellow “ka-barangays/ka-sitios” (e.g., maintaining peace and order, cleanliness, etc.)
• The youth are unable to enjoy extracurricular activities such as playing basketball due to the condition of the basketball court and removing the basketball ring on occasion

P.s. We were told that SIC Rafael “Paeng” Panganiban is hunting us for exposing his wrongdoings. We are being left behind, neglected and other sitios are looking down on us due to our current situation. We need to step up if we want to help our sitio.
