Many students across Ontario have adapted to quadmester timetables over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. This change has made it much easier to focus on coursework, tests, assignments etc during these unprecedented times. A numerous amount of students have benefitted from quadmester schedules, showing improved grades, study habits and maintaining stable routines. Students have been hit hard during the pandemic and the last thing we need now is another big change. 

In terms of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ontario reported nearly 1200 cases yesterday (December 4th 2021). With the arrival of the new variant, Omicron and rising cases, why would the school board want to increase exposure? By forcing students to be in four different classrooms, it would expose them to more students, teachers and surfaces. This doubles the current chances of exposure by exposing students and teachers to four classrooms instead of two.
