A group of my classmates and I have come across an issue. We feel like a certain teacher that teaches us is being extreme and overly extra. The student who chose to not be named is of Muslim Religion so she has to wear a specific head piece. She asked to take a short break to go fix her head scarf but because of her religion she has to go to a private area to fix it. The teacher stated that she was "being a distraction" to the class only because she asked to leave. Following that she said that she can't use that "excuse" to get out of her class everyday. The student has only asked once prior to this situation. When we asked her why she felt that way she refused to fully answer the question and got defensive. Some people may feel like this is a bit of a stretch but we feel like this whole situation was completely uncalled for. Anything Helps!
