Sending a message to a friend, buying a commodity, finding directions to your destination or simply keeping in touch with friends can all be challenging endeavours. You can simply find places on Google maps or stay in touch on internet, all have been made possible because of the revolutionary capabilities of the internet.

Aside from the obvious uses of the internet which includes file sharing, electronic mails, chatting etc., the internet also serves a lot more functions. Below are a few of those functions:

i. The biggest search engines like Google and Yahoo helps us gather information from any part of the world within seconds.

ii. Internet is a boon to the student community. With the help of internet, students are able to save the time that they spend in a library to retrieve information for their projects.

iii. Business people are exploring internet in the maximum way possible. They use internet to build up their business through social media marketing and digital marketing.

iv. Just by the click of a mouse we are able to communicate face to face with a friend, relative or a business client even if they are thousand miles away.

Considering all the possibilities of how much internet can have impact in our lives we the people of Rangajan village many a times dont have these above mentioned boons of internet. 

The village that we reside in is a small village called Rangajan in the district Tinsukia (its a part of assam). The population of this village will be around 900 and it also includes One central government school - JNV , and 1 Rangajan Jatiya vidyalaya. The nearest Jio tower is 5 km away from this village which creates many issues such as :-

1. Poor signal inside homes and schools
2. Internet connection strength as weak as 0.02 kbps
3. Difficulty in calling , using internet etc.

These issues leads to improper communication and Not being able to surf internet

And most importantly during this pandemic when , even the regular classes are taken through phone , whatsapp, google classroom , and zoom apps all which requires a very high speed internet .
The teachers who teach students in JNV , and the Near by school arent even able to send a study material properly without being able to look at the screen waiting for it to load completely .
The students who try to attend the classes are not being able to actively participate due to the lack of internet.
The temporary alternative method found by the people of rangajan is going out of their houses and being able to call someone , to surf internet , to Teach students and to learn .This whole process is not only tiresome but also time consuming.
So its a humble request from we the people of rangajan to help us by signing this petition and help us in setting up a tower in our locality and help us get rid of these issues.
