Petition Closed

"You Can't Do That On Television" was a Canadian television series that began a local run of 45 minute episodes in 1979, but ultimatley began airing on Nickelodeon in 1981, and it became an instant hit, running for ten whole seasons (Including the first season from 79), 143 episodes (Including the thirteen 45 minute episodes), and 11 years.
YCDTOTV getting a full DVD release (And a proper one, not a burn on demand DVD release) is important because it's one of the first and only shows to give Nickelodeon it's name. It inspired many creative ideas to come, and it was the first show to use Nickelodeon slime, which was used in many shows for years to come, and they still use it now. The only release we have of this legendary show is a VHS clipshow, but that tape costs over $100 according to Amazon.
So please sign this petition to get what's left of this show a proper DVD release.
