The 2024 Disney/Pixar film, Inside Out 2 introduced a character named Bloofy. Bloofy is a cartoon dog and the star of his own preschool show called Bloofy's House. He is parody of preschool show characters who directly speak to the audience, such as Blue from Blue's Clues, the title character of Dora the Explorer, and Disney's own Mickey Mouse (specifically, his incarnation from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse spin-off). Bloofy also has his own sidekick, Pouchie, who is a parody of Backpack from Dora the Explorer and Toodles from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, since he provides Bloofy with what items he needs for his adventures. In Inside Out 2, Bloofy is a prisoner in the back of Riley's mind who helps Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust escape when they are imprisoned by the new emotions, Anxiety, Embarrassment, Envy, and Ennui. It is also revealed that Bloofy's House was Riley's favorite preschool show when she was young and that she secretly still watches it on occasion. As Disney and Pixar did for the Blu-ray release of the original Inside Out with "Riley's First Date", they should produce a new short for Inside Out 2 exclusive to the Disney+ streaming service focusing on the Bloofy's House show. This short would allow viewers to see what the Bloofy's House show is like and it could also feature a young Riley and her emotions watching the show and reacting to it.
