Reintroduce blister packs for medication for elderly and vulnerable

Reintroduce blister packs for medication for elderly and vulnerable
Why this petition matters
Pharmacies and medical administers are changing how medication is supplied to individuals and are no longer supplying medication in pre-filled blister or dosette packs.
Blister packs are pre-packed containing sections for the relevant medications pre-filled with the medication each day of the week and relevant time period so the individual taking the medication does not have to attempt to decipher unpackaging and organisation themselves to take various types of medication at various times.
This is particularly important for the elderly and vulnerable or persons taking several medication types at different times of the day as these blister packs ensure all the individual has to do is open the correct window/box on the correct day/time to access their medication. Instead, medication will now be providing in their individual boxes/packages for the user to decipher what to take, when and what dose/number of tablets. This is absolutely ludicrous and is putting peoples lives at risk. How many people or going to die or become seriously unwell because they have accidentally taken too much/not enough of their medications? I am particularly concerned for the elderly, vulnerable and people that take a variety and large amount of medication at various times of the day.
Not everyone has the support of carers and families to assist with administering medication. The government and pharmacies are putting peoples lives at risk!
