Recently the 416 bus route had routes cut from this service. This bus was run on an hourly basis and was used by many. 
The locals used it to do their shopping, attend appointments, visit family and simply to nip in to town. 
Without this service running, our more vulnerable members of the community are being left with no means of easily accessible, affordable transport to meet their daily, basic needs. For those with limited mobility, they are then faced with the walk in to town, which may not seem far, however they are faced with a steep incline on route home, which some just simply will not manage. 
People use this bus as their transport to and from work, as do mums and their children to attend local groups. 
With the increase in costs to basic living, I am saddened that this affordable means of transport has been stopped for many so am asking for people to sign this petition to have it reinstated.
