This week the bus route  288 and 299 has been suddenly cancelled with no school or community consultation . Childrens' journeys to school which were often one or two buses are now largely 3 buses with additional 20-30 mins transport time. The 299 route collected students starting from Elizabeth Quay and travelled Great Eastern Highway turning up  Kalamunda Rd where it went up the hill to Kalamunda Station. It services students to Kalamunda SHS, St Brigids College, Mazenod College, Darling Range Sports College to name a few. The 288 route goes from Forrestfield, through Maidavale, Gooseberry Hill to Kalamunda.

Not all buses need to go to the station as Transperth seem to have decided.

Please support us reinstating the 288 and 299 for students.
