We are not the Island and do not have access to Medical Specialists, Walmart, Costco,  etc.  We use this Ferry to commute to work in Vancouver and to attend sports and dance competitions.  Our community is small and we do not have the services that Vancouver Island does.  We "have" to travel to Vancouver for these services.  And we need to be able to come back home from Vancouver to our community where are families are without having to line up for 5-7 hours in the blazing sun behind tourists who have decided they want a get away.  We live and pay taxes in our Community and should be given priority boarding as Residents so that we can get home at a decent time to be with and take care of our families.  In 1975 the Sunshine Coast had photo ID Resident cards for permanent residents and we would like this reinstated.  Our travel is not for luxury purposes, but for essential reasons.  We should not have to line up to get home behind tourists. We could have our own lane the same way they do with Nexus cards. Plesse reinstate Resident Cards for Sunshine Coast residents so that we can travel freely to and from Vancouver and back in order to access the services which are not available on the Sunshine Coast.  Thank you.
