Hawick used to have a skatepark that got taken away due to vandalism, but whilst it was there it was used well and is still a memory in peoples lives, we recently have been given the pump track but the rise in new skaters in hawick a skatepark would be better for us to go, i think building a new skatepark would be benificial for hawick because it gives people more things to do, it will bring more tourism and visitors and it keeps everyone out of trouble, i think we should build a fresh skatepark but would happily take anything we could get in the meantime
