Provincial Hospital had casualties department for decades. 

It has been closed down for some years now and persons are recerred to Livingston hospital. 

Livingston hospital are influxed with patients from cross country as well and therefore become under staffed.

The waiting periods are long. 

Staff are exhausted.

The same goes for the local clinics in the areas.

However, clinics can not assist with certain medical emergency cases such as stitches need for children for example.

The area around Provincial Hospital has many schools,old age homes and low income households that mostly do not own transport to travel to other other hospitals for service delivery when there is one without the facilities in the area as well as qualified Nursing staff needing employment.

Reinstating the Casualties ward will ease work load on current staff.

Thereby enhancing turnaround service delivery time.
