Their recent departure has resulted in a loss of local flavor and personality, replaced by voices from the big cities that don't carry the same level of connection.

In times of crisis, such as the recent flooding, we relied on Elliott & Carley along with others from tripple m. They provided us with essential, local context information that was necessary for our survival. They took time away from their personal lives and family to support us - the local community. It's not just about the music, but the local perspective, the nuances in their programming that make listening to them familiar and comforting.

According to data from Nielsen's 2019 Audio Today Report, listeners rate 'localism' as one of the most valuable aspects of radio broadcasting. People prefer to hear from those who understand the nuances of their community, its weather, its surroundings, and its culture.
