We, the residents of Redhill have no public grammar school nearby where the kids can go for secondary school. With so many primary schools in Redhill, Merstham, Horley, Salford’s and Reigate, it is a necessity that the city gets its own public grammar school. At the moment we only have 2 secondary schools - St Bede’s and Carrington school. Most of the kids aspiring to go to public grammar schools have to travel till Sutton or enrol in private grammar schools. We believe, that students should be able to locally access grammar education and not add to the traffic on the road during rush hour. Kindly do share if there is already a plan in place or what is the alternate solution.
