REI needs to end its partnerships with Subaru--in its magazine, in stores, and in its parking lots. REI thinks stewardship is so important that it reserves a whole section of its website to its stewardship reports. Subaru is a poor steward of our planet.

While other automakers have introduced hybrid, plug in hybrid, and full electric vehicles to the market, Subaru has only traditional gasoline vehicles. The only reason that Subaru is not in last place among larger car manufacturers in terms of overall fuel economy is that it doesn't sell trucks.

To add insult to injury, Subaru has sided with the Trump administration and against California's CO2 standards. They are on the wrong side of history. REI needs to stay true to its roots and dump Subaru.
