Coach Meyer (Blaine Meyer) is a current teacher at Jefferson City High School. Word has spread that he will be replaced after the 2021-2022 school year. In my opinion like many others this is very unfair. For example Coach Meyer has been one of the best teachers i’ve had not only do I find it easy to learn in his class room but I feel comfortable. At the start of the year I had an issue with something said in the class so I wrote Coach Meyer a letter on why I was personally upset and he brought me out of class and I could see he genuinely read the letter and took it into consideration and he made a change just because I had a minor inconvenience. If I had to give you an example of a real teacher it would be him. Someone who doesn’t just throw notes at us and tell us to study he makes sure we have a good education and makes sure we are good people in and outside of class. That’s a real teacher to me.
