Albertas Maintenance Enforcement Needs To Have Rules & Regulations

Currently mep has full access to your financial information, bank accounts and can incorrectly place federal licence restrictions,seize property, and garnish wages with the click of a button. Without actually reviewing debtors files, tax assesment or financial profile. The charges,fees,federal restrictions and license denials, impact not only said individual but everyone around them. 

Mep should have to do a full financial assessment before they are allowed to access the debtors bank acounts and withdraw any amount of funds without prior warning. Rent money, mortgage payments, insurance, money for their kids school fees, or new school clothes, etc have all been stolen without any warning or notice. 

Mep should have to notify the debtor a minimum of 2 weeks prior to collection and with a said amount that is no more than 50% of the balance available if not less.  

MEP is possible of doing great things, and has helped many people, but something needs to change in the way they help people. Having children takes two people so why are they only helping 1?
