As many in management know it is to easy for staff to walk out of one job and into the next one with no consequences to them, This is sadly a story that rings all to true for the care industry. 

We face on the daily staff not turning up shifts, leaving during shifts and even quitting with no notice, but able to then gain employment straight away with a new company. 

This leaves vulnerable people at risk and puts staff in really rubbish situations where they are burnt out and exhausted because others act selfishly.

To be a manager in care you have to undergo an intense recruitment process, and also have to undergo an intense registration interview, we are then given a pin/registration number which is checked against every time we start a new role.

I believe this should be the norm across the UK for all roles where vulnerable people are involved.
