I support an Arts Centre on Hornby Island, sited on HIRRA Crown Land.

Incredibly, Hornby Island, with an international reputation for arts and culture, has no dedicated central home for the arts though as many as 40 percent of islanders report artistic work as an essential component of their living. The Hornby Island Arts Council is now finalizing its plans to move out of its 1967 Atco Trailer and build an Arts Centre after 20 years of work towards this end. It will be a public facility, open year-round, dedicated to the arts. You can learn about our building progress here: www.hornbyarts.com

Our funders and the public are keen to see that people are excited for this project and are behind it, and we will be collecting your signatures and letters here to show to them. We need to gather your signatures and letters by the end of this October. Please express your support for this project generally and for our siting it on HIRRA Crown Land specifically as you are able. Please also share this petition with others. Again, more specifics are available here: www.hornbyarts.com
