Register to vote on National Voter Registration Day
Everybody misses deadlines. But forgetting to register to vote is one of the worst deadlines to miss.
You feel guilty for letting down your community. And not voting limits your ability to participate in decisions that have a huge impact in your life.
That’s why on September 25th, we’re celebrating the first-ever National Voter Registration Day -- a national day of action to make sure this is a deadline nobody misses.
There’s too much on the line in this election. Sign this petition and pledge to register to vote on or before September 25th.
If you’re not registered, or moved since the last election, signing this pledge will help you remember -- and will empower you to be a voter in the crucial November elections.
In 2008, more than 6 million people reported sitting out of the election because they missed their state’s voter registration deadline.
And since the last election, new rules have popped up in dozens of states that make registering and voting harder than ever for many Americans. When you go to the polls on Election Day, you want peace of mind knowing you’re ready to vote.
It’s so easy to forget -- but signing this pledge makes it even easier to remember. Celebrate National Voter Registration Day and pledge to register on or before 9/25!
That’s what the first-ever National Voter Registration Day is for -- to remind every voter to get registered on or before September 25th.
Take the pledge and be part of National Voter Registration Day. Then you’ll be all set to cast your vote and raise your voice on Election Day.
