We want to determine the amount of local support for the construction of a safe highway crossing in Dalyston.

Physical activity is encouraged but we need a safe way to access businesses, the school, rec reserve and rail trail.

A crossing would benefit all ages to safely cross the highway, including:

1. Primary school-aged children to school.
2. Bass Coast Rail Trail riders and walkers.
3. Footy and netball players, and supporters.
4. Business customers.
5. Vulnerable community members.

We believe the exact location and whether it's on/under/above the highway should be the subject of future discussions with road authorities and the community.
