Moyhu Soldiers Memorial Hall Renovation
Moyhu Soldiers Memorial Hall Renovation
The Moyhu Soldiers Memorial Hall - 24 Bartley Street Moyhu
First opened on 11 November 1928 by Cr. E. M. Evans
The hall commemorates the residents of Moyhu who served their country in the First World War.
It is well loved by its users, the broader community and is a great King Valley venue with renowned acoustic qualities, known as one of the best venues for performances outside of Wangaratta.
The hall is in a state of disrepair, with Rural City of Wangaratta recognising that in order to prevent further degradation it will require remedial works and renovation to return it to its former glory, as well as to develop a well used community asset for purpose now and into another 100 years.
