Regent Road Elementary - No sidewalk in sight.

The newest elementary school has just opened this year in the Clayton community. We are all thrilled to have another school for the new generation to attend.

However, getting to the school maybe a bit of a hazard for some parents, regarding sidewalks.

Regent Road Elementary is located on 74th Avenue in Surrey, this area has never had sidewalks along this street.

However with more pedestrian traffic we need this fixed. Vehicle are alreafy speedy down this road there needs to be a solution, before there is an instance of anyone being in a accident. 

Starting for 184th Street where there is a new lights being installed we need to have a sidewalk (even one side), to be installed to connect with the sidewalk that is in front of Regent Road Elementary. 

I am asking everyone to please sign this petition to let the City Of Surrey how serious this is. That leaving this for later is not an option. 

This is for not only the safety of the kids that go to this new school but also for anyone just taking a stroll down the street.
