As the trend for refugee resettlement in Pittsburgh increases, the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs has been defunded and no longer provides stimulus to immigrants and refugees. Roughly 9% of residents are already foreign born, and the trend is steeply increasing by 2% in the last decade. With thousand of Ukrainian refugees seeking asylum in Pittsburgh, the government has a moral obligation to refund the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs. We aim to raise $100,000 to distribute to refugees and immigrants who are unable to receive government welfare. In the words of the great Mr. Rodgers,  "Won't you be our neighbor?"
