In 2019, Ever after music festival opened ticket sales for the 2020 year. Because of the pandemic, unfortunately the festival was unable to proceed. Instead of offering refunds, EA chose to have their tickets roll over to the following year, with a new added “perk” added to each order. examples include free parking, a food voucher, 15% off the original purchase, ect. sadly, none of these perks were ever added to anyones package. instead, when ever after decided to switch their main business partner from beyond oz to unity travel, and had to switch over all the information, multiple peoples tickets and perks were removed. hundreds of people made complaints about the lack of refund options, citing that with no end to the pandemic in sight .. ticket holders would rather have their money back than plan for an event that there was no certainty would be feasible. due to this influx of negative backlash, event promoters decided to create a “refund que” in which people could opt to have their tickets resold as new people bought them. unfortunately no ticket holders have been refunded to date, despite numerous ticket sales occurring since this option was created. As expected, come 2021, restrictions had not lifted and festival goers were again let down as they were told that tickets would roll over yet another year. early 2022, the festival announced that it would be moving its location to burls creek event grounds … 2 full hours away from its original location, with again, no option for refunds despite hundreds of people now not having a place to stay, as they had originally planned for accommodations in the Kitchener-waterloo region. in july, ticket holders became aware via township meetings and documents released to the public, that the ever after fest team had failed to plan accordingly for the festival. this includes safety measures, traffic flow, police staffing, ect. with less than a month to the festival and no events permit or proper planning, ticket holders became nervous as to what the outcome of the situation would be. sadly, ever after decided to wait until the week prior to the supposed festival to announce its cancelation. this affected many people in non reversible ways. a lot of people had bought plane tickets, made hotel reservations, bought items in preparation, booked work off. It is

ever after has failed to respond to any DM’s or emails, but has recently posted a dishonest statement about the release of refunds within 5-10 business days of said post being made. it has now been 14 business days, two full weeks, and not a single person has received a refund. additionally, they have deleted posts ridden with negative comments and turned off comments on all recent posts, we assume to prevent people from communicating. when some users took to commenting on old posts, they were messaged vague threats, citing that they knew where people lived based off addresses attached to orders.
