Alexandria Morgan started this petition to Governor Gretchen Whitmer

We strive for equality among all Mothers and Fathers and believe the Family Court system currently in place is a biased and unfair system. Our goal is to reform the outdated and unfair current system to modernize and create an equal rights basis.  Most families who go to court can settle their disputes with mediators. With your signature, you will help us achieve our goal of ending the weaponization and manipulation of child development psychology fundamentals to exploit separating parents/families.

By reaching our petition signature goal, we demand Governor Gretchen Whitmer signs an Executive Order to Amend the following requests:

ACTION DEMANDS:

1. Amend the CSE punishment for failure to pay child support. Hypocrisy only exists in family court for failure to pay a debt to someone (custodial parent). No other collections enforcement calls for judicial punishment except in family court for failure to pay the debt/support order. CSE punishments include jail time; suspension of driver's license, hunting/recreational license, professional/occupational licenses; intercepting unemployment compensation; and intercepting tax refunds. We demand all punishments are lifted and expunged until a new and updated family court and CSE reform bill is passed into Michigan legislature.

We request that the parent owing arrears is issued a citation instead of the current CSE punishment recommendation.
