Reform policies and procedures for FBSID Cheerleading program to be fair and just

Over the past four years and could be more, FBISD has been violating their own impartial rules, policies and procedures when it comes to their campus' cheerleaders and cheer program as a whole. FBISD has been hiring and paying their own same set of judges to judge their annual cheerleading tryouts each year. The FBISD cheer policy states that Judges are supposed to be impartial. By hiring their own same set of judges for four and or more years is not an impartial process. Placing the same judges at the same tryout facilities each year to judge the same recurring faces is not an impartial process. Each year parents are signing a binding contract that includes the understanding of the Cheerleading handbook which promises impartiality. FBISD has been underhandedly breaching their own contract by the negligence of not ensuring that these judges are certified and impartial. Although it has only been proven by a set of score sheets that the judges are and have in fact been the same unimpartial judges chosen by FBISD. FBISD chooses to ignore the fact that they are in breach of their contract and promise to students and parents to keeping things impartial. FBISD has brushed around the possible fact that their judges are certified to judge such a competitive competition but yet refuse to prove that. The speculation from inconsistencies given to a cheer parent in writing prove to be that judges are not certified by any cheer association, there for not knowledgeable  to jusdge such a try/competition

When asked to, FBISD has refused to revamp their judges criteria to make it clear to judges, candidates, parents and coaches what a candidate must do to achieve any score on their score sheet. Doing this would prevent judges from just making up their own criteria and would enhance the impartiality of the competition.

By Signing this petition you are agreeing that FBISD needs to reform their policies and procedures as well as practice hiring certified and truly impartial judges for their annual cheerleading competition.
