ReEdu Europe 

Noi pensiamo, con Nelson Mandela, che “l’educazione sia l’arma più potente per cambiare il mondo”. Riteniamo importante non seguire sulla strada dell’odio un pugno di governanti che perseguono inconfessabili interessi nascondendosi dietro la bandiera della difesa della democrazia. Prevale oggi, tra i sostenitori della pace, un senso di impotenza e rassegnazione: al contrario, dobbiamo trovare in noi stessi la forza di accompagnare la sincera avversione alla barbarie della guerra con atti concreti miranti a scongiurarla: a volte le più stravaganti utopie, se perseguite con convinzione, possono materializzarsi e produrre risultati.  É quindi di fondamentale importanza che si crei in Italia ed in Europa un forte movimento di opinione per fermare la dissennata corsa agli armamenti che si vuole intraprendere, destinando le risorse che si vorrebbero impegnare per questo alla istruzione delle giovani generazioni, che comprenda la pace e la solidarietà tra gli uomini e tra i popoli come perno del processo formativo.  Lanciamo quindi la richiesta ai parlamentari europei di proporre di sostituire il progetto "ReArm Europe" con quello "ReEdu Europe", destinando le risorse previste per il primo a un piano di istruzione a tutto campo per le nuove generazioni europee, introducendo un sistema educativo, dall'asilo all'università,  coerente e condiviso.

ReEdu Europe 

We think, with Nelson Mandela, that "education is the most powerful weapon to change the world." We believe it is important not to follow a handful of rulers on the path of hatred, who pursue unspeakable interests by hiding behind the banner of defending democracy. Today, among the supporters of peace, a sense of powerlessness and resignation prevails: on the contrary, we must find in ourselves the strength to accompany the sincere aversion to the barbarity of war with concrete acts aimed at preventing it: sometimes the most extravagant utopias, if pursued with conviction, can materialize and produce results. It is therefore of fundamental importance that a strong movement of opinion is created in Italy and Europe to stop the insane race to the world. armaments that we want to undertake, allocating the resources that we would like to commit to the education of the younger generations, which includes peace and solidarity between men and peoples as a pivot of the training process. We therefore launch the request to MEPs to propose to replace the project "ReArm Europe" with that "ReEdu Europe," allocating the resources provided for the first to an all-out education plan for the new European generations, introducing a coherent and shared education system, from kindergarten to university.
