It is wrong to destroy more of the Bay and it's wildlife habitats in the name of more development.
Overdevelopment is ruining the beauty and identity of the Bay area and making it unliveable. Building more on the 101 corridor will make this freeway and all those that feed onto it even more congested.

We lived in Redwood City for years and are aware of the fragile ecology of the salt ponds, which I believe are landfill and vulnerable to earthquake. Would be a bummer to see a hotel sink in a quake!

Building on the salt ponds seems irresponsible since water in the bay is rising.

Everything we know about wetlands, climate change, and shoreline development clearly indicate that allowing development here is a terrible idea.

I am signing because I don’t want to lose more of our bay. The San Francisco Bay is a major part of what makes our area unique. We have already taken too much. Instead we should be taking measure to combat the increasing water levels by developing the lost marsh areas of our bay, not putting houses in an unstable area and soon to be flood zone.

Nobody should be building on San Francisco Bay. It is bad enough that companies own water frontage and actual baylands that should be preserved for wildlife habitat and buffer zones for tidal lands.

My Dad worked hard to protect the bay shore. He’s gone now. He fought for open space for good reason - leave it alone!!

I'm signing because the salt ponds are an integral part of the Bay.
