The amount of bail is absurd and I do not think that heavily subsidized private companies that are destroying whaat should be public lands have a right to private property.

These peaceful protesters' mission is to save the environment for the good of all. They deserve respect and fairness, not excessive bail and unreasonable treatment.

When a vast majority of the leaders in this state, are retired coal miners, present and past company owners, then you see why things like this happen. Driving into the hills of WV, for example up route 3, away from the smaller cities, basically gives the politicians and the law in that area, the power to do anything that they want and choose to do. There is a conflict of interest in every sector of govt in WV. Everyone, is somehow connected to coal. As long as coal is king in WV, and we continue to support leaders that live in the past, we will have a state that will be abused and forgotten. Its amazing how big coal companies will bring in scabs when miners want to strike. Yet when it comes to saving them from supposed attacks on coal, they want the miners and local people to help them win there fight. I find it hilarious and proof that people in the backwoods of WV are simply stupid.

The amount and conditions of the bail are unconstitutional and ridiculous considering it was a peaceful protest.
