On August 7, 2022 Texas.gov/Property Taxes will go LIVE as a website.  Within this website we can click on a link to our local database.  This would put us in communication with our elected officials (the people that SET THE TAX RATE for Hunt County).  

We are asking that all owners get involved in this to help our neighborhood reduce each owners Tax Rate.  Currently, each of us owners are held to the SAME TAX RATE as everyone else in Hunt County.  Our neighborhood does not benefit from Hunt Counties Emergency Services (Fire/Rescue come from voluntary services) and we further do not benefit from Road Maintenance.  

We have all heard the stories that a big builder is trying to tax us out of our neighborhood, or someday Hunt County will take over the roads or even that there isn't much we can do to control the tax rate for us.  After doing much research and talking to the people at the appraisers office, WE DO have an avenue to take to help us all.

We pay the SAME TAX RATE as those with good roads/Emergency Services.  This needs to change and we are asking for your help.
