Improve Onslow Gardens Park

We have experienced first hand, the terrible state of the kids play area at Onslow Gardens Park in South Woodford. The park is often left in a very messy state, the grass is not cut, signage is poor and there is not enough equipment for families to use.

The Council has committed to spending some Community Infrastructure levy funding for the park, but it is a small amount of about £2,693 and this will be spent on new finger signage and a “new Springer” type piece of play equipment which is due to be installed in the coming weeks.

This is not adequate and we are therefore are setting up a petition to pressure Redbridge Council to spend money on improving this facility. This is the nearest park for South Woodford families to use and it is not fair that South Woodford families should be forced to travel distances to other parks in the Borough.
