Extend Redbridge's 30 minutes free on street parking scheme to Derby road car park

Help residents and shopkeepers by extending the 30 minutes free on-street parking scheme to Derby road car park in respect of the fact the area does not have on-street parking facilities.
Whilst Redbridge's 30 minutes free on-street parking scheme has been of great benefit in many areas there appears a pitfall in the scheme in areas such as Woodford High Street.
Shopkeepers are caught on the sharp-end of this new deal as they cannot compete with the free short-term parking facilities in neighbouring shopping vicinities, residents surrounding the parade still deal with limited residential parking space as customers look to avoid charges - also leading to cramped and dangerous roads and illegal parking both on the high road and on adjourning roads creating a further hazard for pedestrians and road users alike.
The solution appears simple; by extending the 30 minutes free parking scheme to the often underused Derby Road car park we can not only support our local shopkeepers but also create a safer space around the high street and take the strain off residents finding it increasingly difficult to park.
We need all the support we can to get to the 1500 signatures required to take this to debate in council
