Recycling Bins at Petrol Stations

Currently there are no recycling bins for customers at petrol stations.

Many fuel companies preach that they want to reduce the effects they have on the environment, issuing recycling bins at the pumps, where the other bins are available will make a positive impact on our environment, encouraging people to recycle their rubbish. (Often aluminium cans from drink holders). This will lead to less waste in our land fills.

In Queensland, I was recently informed by a Brisbane CIty Council worker, at a community event that our Land Fill in Brisbane, only has 5 years left of waste, before they have to look for another site. This will lead to an increase in rates and waste management, as they will have to look for a site, further out of Brisbane.
