I believe that the musical group BTS should be able to use their cultural ambassadorships as duty to their country instead of going into the military. They have given our youth something to live by especially in the lyrics to their songs that provide strength and encouragement by being relatable to current situations. These men will do a lot more for the South Korea by just doing what they do best.  These 7 men did not have a lot growing up but what they have now they are very philanthropic. They have supported causes like Black Lives Matter, LBGQT, PETA, and have just been at the White House to speak with the American President Biden to discuss AAHPI. A topic that needed to be discussed about the violence that this group of people have endured since the pandemic began. These men are very humble and also bring in billions of dollars to the South Korean economy. I feel that if the South Korean government, especially their newly elected President could see just how these 7 men effect the lives of millions of people that they will reconsider. This groups fan base is not just made up of children and teenagers but they reach people well into their 70s and 80s. They are a group for all ages.
