Dear Texas voters,

Due to the recent infringement on women's rights and the recent supreme court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade; we the people of Texas, feel it is time to start the recall process of Gov. Greg Abbott. Because Abbott has the hair-trigger bill, that criminalizes women who pursue an abortion, we the people of Texas, feel it is of gross overreach to criminalize women for pursuing an abortion.

It has also become known to the members of the Montrose district and LGBTQ community in Houston, that the Republican party will not stop there, but will continue their pursuit in marginalizing members of our community as well. Therefore, we start the petition to recall Gov. Abbott of Texas before more damage is done to our freedom and sovereign rights as citizens. The constitution guarantees a separation of church and state, and sovereign human rights to all of its citizens. Please sign this petition and let's get the ball rolling.
