On the night of December 10, 2021 a F4 tornado tore through the small town of Dawson Springs, Kentucky. 75% of the town suffered destruction and  devastation to many homes and businesses as well as the loss of many lives.

This tornado destroyed the retired American Legion that was  home to Trail Town Dance Barn. This Country Western venue held dances every Saturday night  with a live band and offered Line dancing lessons on Tuesday nights. Many residents and out of town dancers enjoyed coming on Saturday nights to listen to the band and dance. As well as socializing with friends.

The Friends of Trail Town Dance Barn are starting this petition in hopes that the city, who owns the property will work diligently in secureing the funds to rebuild the building, and bring Trail Town Dance Barn back to  Dawson Springs.  To help start a path toward some sort of new normal for the citizens of this small town and all those who enjoyed this Country Western venue.
