Freedom Park is located in the center of the beautiful village of Harrisville by the waterfall. When I was a child the park was beautiful and full of life. When they rebuilt freedom park they tore down all of the beautiful trees and they demolished the park equipment and replaced it with other things. Today the park is disgusting. The equipment is tagged with vulgar slang and the grounds inside the fence are barely maintained. I loved this park as a child and I would love for my son to have some great memories like I did. I went there today with him (7/18/2022) and the mulch is barely replaced, there are parts of the equipment missing, and now a swing is missing as well. I hope this petition will encourage some change for our beautiful village. There has been several parks built around the area that are fantastic but this one stands in the center of town and is completely overlooked. Please sign this to make a change possible!
